La verdad que Córdoba tiene unas enormes oportunidades de realizar algo grande en cuanto a adopción de tecnología wireless y basadas en sistemas de localización para todo el casco antiguo. Desconozco totalmente si hay alguien en este sentido que esté investigando sobre este tema. Cuando léí el libro de SmartMobs, uno de los capítulos estaba relacionado con la información en todas partes. The Era of Sentient Things hablaba precisamente del mundo que viene en el que estaremos rodeados por lugares que contendrán información almacenada. Este tipo de tecnología es perfectamente adaptable a la promoción turística que Córdoba necesita como motor de nuestra economía. Leo en SmartMobs una referencia a un trial que hubo en el Reino Unido a finales del año 2002, sobre el uso de este tipo de tecnologia en un museo: "The Multimedia Tour allows background information about the works on display to be provided to visitors in a variety of different media on a portable screen-based device.
